All orders are processed thru our website store- even if you are mailing payment.

Payment: You can order with VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, or PayPal thru our online store.

We also accept personal checks (held for clearance) & money orders made out to To mail in payment, place your order thru the website store, and select select that you are mailing payment from the payment options during checkout. Do not mail payment without first completing the order online. This will allow you to know exactly how much to send, and will reserve your items for 10 days. Payment must be in US Dollars- and drawn from a US bank. We can not accept any foreign checks or money orders, this includes Canadian Postal money orders (even if they are in US dollars). We can also do direct wire transfers.

We may require foreign orders to provide a picture of the actual credit card to prevent online fraud. We reserve the right to decline and refund any suspicious foreign order.

Never e-mail us your credit card number.
Your e-mail does not have the same security features that our website does.

Phone orders: If you are ordering by phone because you are not comfortable using your credit card on the internet, please note that we use web-based card processing, which means we will be entering your card info on the internet. It is actually safer to order online, where even we do not see your credit card info. Our website ordering is safe and secure.

Shipping: We ship promptly via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days depending of your distance from us) or USPS Express Mail (1-2 days, overnight to many destinations). Large orders are normally shipped ground. We cannot refund shipping costs, or assume liability for shipping carrier delays/errors. We cannot modify the shipping method after an order is placed.

Please note that USPS and SWK cannot assume liability for parcel theft after delivery, this is NOT covered by shipping insurance. Customer is responsible for providing a secure delivery location. We will require a signature for orders over $200

Are you ordering from outside the USA? We have shipped kilts & accessories all over the world- even to Antarctica! We currently offer service to Canada, UK/Europe, Australia/New Zealand, South America and Japan. We do not accept checks/money orders from outside the US (see above). Please note you may be charged additional customs fees by your government at time of delivery. Purchaser is responsible for all customs fees, we will declare correct value on all customs forms. Our web store is configured for USPS International Priority Mail.

Group Orders: If you have a band, wedding party or other group that needs matching kilts, we can often offer favorable terms. Please contact us well in advance of when you will need them.

Order with confidence- You can return or exchange any item we currently sell for 30 days after date of purchase (45 days during the holidays).
Kilts must still have temporary pleat stitching intact, unless return is due to manufacturing error.

Please do NOT return a kilt with the straps buckled

Custom/closeout/discontinued/irregular items are not always eligible for refund/exchange, please contact us if you have any questions. Buyer is responsible for postage in most cases. Returns after 30 days are at our discretion, and may be subject to a restock fee. We are unable to refund original shipping fees unless return is due to SWK error. If your kilt came with a set of flashes,please include them with the kilt. Please avoid returning kilts with pet hair on them.

If you have altered/hemmed/modified your kilt, it is no longer eligible for return. Do NOT use USPS Media Mail, USPS will likely return the package to you, with postage due.

The fastest way to do a size exchange is to simply order another kilt as a separate transaction, (so it can ship right away) and send the first kilt back for a refund. If you prefer to do a direct exchange, you will need to include postage in most cases, please contact us for details.
